About this painting

A small blonde girl in a pointed green hat stands with her arms spread among rounded, patterned hills, while a tan cat with a stitched grin peers down from the top right corner. Every shape around them has its own decoration: sky-blue spots on pink, cobalt diamonds on orange, white dashes on black, and a mustard field holding two brown hearts.

The paint is flat and matte, laid in solid blocks with patterns drawn on top in short strokes and dots, much like a picture book or a folk textile. Zebra stripes at lower left and a stitched blue circle near the centre keep the crowded surface in rhythm.

CA#288 is an original colorful figurative painting showing naive illustrative scene of a girl in a green hat with a peeking cat among patterned hills, hearts and dots, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Storybook figures and dense pattern make people slow down, which is what a shop wall, a boutique hotel corridor or an entrance hall seen at walking pace needs. Keep the surroundings plain and pale: patterned wallpaper or a busy rug nearby will fight the hills. The black grounds in the canvas link neatly to black metal shelving or dark door frames. Because the girl sits below the middle, a large canvas can hang lower than usual so her face meets an adult's gaze.

Specified for gallery & retail, corridor & circulation, entryway & hallway and living room; it reads as bold and uplifting.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for CA#288 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on CA#288 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Who is peeking over the top of CA#288?

A tan cat, drawn as a simple face with pointed ears and a stitched smile, looking down over a brown hill at the girl below. It is the detail many people miss at first glance, which makes the canvas a small conversation piece in a shop or a family room.

Is CA#288 meant for a child's room?

It suits one but was not drawn only for children. The figures have a picture-book simplicity, yet the black grounds, mustard and tight pattern give it a grown-up folk-art edge, so it sits as comfortably in a café or a living room as in a playroom.

Is CA#288 a print or an original painting?

An original. CA#288 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of CA#288 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
