Teal and rust folk portrait of two men and dogs wall art

Two bearded men in wide, tall-crowned white hats pose as if for a formal portrait in a teal room, one seated in a red armchair with legs crossed, the other standing with a hand on a second rust-red chair. Their dogs face straight out at their feet: a brown-and-white one at lower left, a black one with a white chest at lower right.

The seated man wears a cream suit with pink at the lapel and red boots; his companion wears brown suede. Pale sprigs scatter the wallpaper, a gold-framed picture hangs in the corner, and a green patterned rug fills the floor.

CA#221 is an original colorful figurative painting showing two men in white hats with two dogs in a patterned teal room, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

The colouring is dark and earthy, so it wants warm company: dark walnut dining furniture, a bar panelled in green or oxblood leather, a sitting room painted ochre. Give it soft, warm light; cool downlights flatten the teal toward grey. The upright two-figure format fills a narrow wall between doors or a chimney-breast alcove well, and it can take close viewing across a table.

Specified for restaurant & bar, gallery & retail, dining room and living room; it reads as moody and cozy & warm.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.
