About this painting

A dark clump of trees on the right bank throws a long black and green reflection down into a pale lake, while everything around it stays cream, apricot and soft blue. The waterline crosses just above the middle, and on the far left a low slate-blue shore balances the trees.

The whole surface is palette-knife work. In the sky the knife lays thick white and cream slabs sideways; in the water it drags paint straight down, so the reflections stream toward the bottom edge. Lime green, dark teal and a few thin black twig lines give the right side its weight, and the left half stays open.

IA#662 is an original impressionist landscape painting showing knife-painted lakeside trees reflected in still water under a pale sky, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Its weight sits on the right, so set something with height on its left, such as an arc lamp, a potted olive or a wing chair, to balance the empty cream sky. In a spa reception or guest suite it suits sage, greige and travertine, and the lime green answers indoor planting. At larger sizes it can lean on a low plinth or a deep shelf. Keep the light even; a hard spotlight bleaches the cream sky and flattens the knife ridges.

Specified for spa & wellness, guest room & suite, home office and living room; it reads as calming and peaceful.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for IA#662 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on IA#662 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Why are the reflections in IA#662 streaked downward?

In the water the knife is pulled vertically, dragging the tree colours toward the bottom edge. It mimics the way reflections stretch on a slightly moving surface, and it contrasts with the flat horizontal slabs in the sky, so the waterline reads clearly even in an abstract scene.

Could the lime green in IA#662 be softened for a quieter room?

Yes. The lime and olive strokes in the trees can be pushed toward sage or muted moss, leaving the dark teal, apricot and cream as painted. Because the green sits only in the right-hand trees and their reflection, the composition and knife texture stay exactly the same.

Is IA#662 a print or an original painting?

An original. IA#662 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of IA#662 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
