About this painting

A dark mountain rises from the left edge and drops steeply to the right, its black-brown slope dusted with white and gold spatter like a snow flurry at night. Above it the cream sky is sculpted in plaster relief: raised cloud clusters edged in brown stand proud of the surface.

Below the peak the slope turns slate blue and grey, then breaks into banded strata of taupe and brown, with a pale blue pool at the lower left and a curving gold band beneath it. The relief is heaviest in the clouds and the lower right bank; the mountain itself stays comparatively smooth.

AA#738 is an original abstract landscape painting showing dark speckled mountain form under a cream sky over brown and gold ground, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a sculpted relief surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Sculpted plaster needs light moving across it, so pick the side wall next to a window, or a spa corridor lit by a wall washer, where the raised clouds throw small shadows. The cream and taupe ground sits quietly on greige or warm-white walls, next to travertine, pale oak and boucle. In a guest room, place it opposite the bed so the mountain greets a guest at first light, with the relief well away from headboards and pillows.

Specified for guest room & suite, spa & wellness, bedroom and corridor & circulation; it reads as peaceful and calming.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for AA#738 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Because the surface is not rolled, the choice is between stretched, ready to hang, and stretched in a frame; a frame costs more.
Surface
Sculpted relief is built up in layers with drying time between them, so it costs more than a flat painting of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on AA#738 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

How raised is the plaster on AA#738?

Clearly raised. The cloud clusters and the banks at the lower right are sculpted into the surface, so they cast shadows and can be felt by hand, while the dark mountain slope is smoother. Side light makes the sky look carved; a flat wash from the ceiling softens it.

What do the white and gold specks on the mountain in AA#738 suggest?

They are spattered paint flicked across the dark slope and down into the strata. Against near-black they read like falling snow or a starry sky, and the gold specks pick up the gold band below, linking the summit to the strata at its base.

Is AA#738 a print or an original painting?

An original. AA#738 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of AA#738 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
