Mist-blue and dove-grey blocks stack up a tall canvas beneath a level band of pale sky, with a crust of white built up thickly at the upper right. That white patch is the most worked area: chalky, rough-edged and broken by brown flecks, with a single thread of rust running down beside it.

Elsewhere the paint is scumbled and dry-brushed so one blue shows through the next. Small notes of moss green at the left and along the base, a charcoal wedge at bottom left and a darker teal strip down the right edge keep the softness from turning vague.
