About this painting

Two open blooms in slate blue and teal grey lean out from long, thin stems, the larger one taking up the top half and a smaller, half-closed flower below it on the left. Their centres are clusters of dark seed marks with a hint of olive, and white petal edges catch the light.

The rest is a washed, scraped ground of white and pale grey, with faint vertical drips down the lower right. Petals are painted in quick dragged strokes that end in broken, feathery edges, while the stems are single grey lines, so the weight sits at the top and the bottom half stays open.

IA#1056 is an original impressionist floral painting showing two loose blue-grey poppy-like blooms on long stems against a washed white ground, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

With its weight at the top and an almost empty lower half, it can hang low behind a bench, a console or a treatment bed, and objects in front will not hide anything that matters. Mid-grey walls make the white ground read as light; on white walls a thin black frame gives it an edge. Pair it with brushed steel, white marble and grey-blue linen rather than warm wood.

Specified for guest room & suite, spa & wellness, bedroom and home office; it reads as calming and peaceful.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for IA#1056 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on IA#1056 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Is it right to call the blue flowers in IA#1056 poppies?

They are loose enough to read either way, but the open cupped petals and dark seed centres point to poppies, recoloured from red into blue-grey. The cool colour sets aside the red poppy's usual associations with remembrance and leaves a calmer, more graphic flower study.

What would hang well beside IA#1056 as a pair?

A partner that shares its restraint. A single white or grey bloom, or another blue-grey study facing the opposite way, works as a pair either side of a bed. Avoid a bright mixed bouquet next to it: the near-monochrome palette would look washed out by comparison.

Is IA#1056 a print or an original painting?

An original. IA#1056 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of IA#1056 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
