a large vertical minimalist abstract painting of a broad sand beige dry-brush block down the center, framed by dense black strokes at the top right and lower right, on a cream ground, in flat matte acrylic

Studio photograph of the actual canvas. Yours is repainted to your dimensions, so brushwork will differ slightly — that is what an original is.

About this painting

Sand-beige paint is dragged down the centre in broad dry strokes, stepping from upper right to lower left between two blocks of dense black. The black above is torn and feathery along its edges; the black below is heavier and fills most of the lower right corner. On the left, smaller black marks are scraped sideways into thin streaks.

The upper left is left as empty cream, a quiet patch that offsets the weight on the opposite side. Bristle tracks show clearly in the beige, though the surface stays flat and matte.

AA#047 is an original abstract painting showing broad beige and black dry-brush blocks on a cream ground, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Its restraint suits rooms finished in natural materials: limewashed walls, travertine, raw linen, rattan and walnut. In a spa relaxation room, where nothing on the walls should demand attention, it gives structure without colour. Because the heaviest black sits at the lower right, the canvas looks settled above something low, such as a bench, bedside table or credenza, rather than floating high on an empty wall. In a meeting room it calms a side wall away from the screen.

Specified for guest room & suite, bedroom, meeting & boardroom and spa & wellness; it reads as peaceful and calming.

Pairs well with

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for AA#047 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on AA#047 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Does AA#047 suit a Japandi interior?

Yes. Cream, sand beige and black are core Japandi colours, and the dry, unfinished brush edges echo the wabi-sabi liking for marks left as they fell. Pair it with pale timber, paper lamps and stoneware rather than gloss or chrome.

How do the beige and black of AA#047 look under warm evening light?

Under warm lamps the beige moves closer to the cream ground, and the black reads more graphically, almost as two dark blocks. In daylight the beige separates again and the bristle tracks in it come forward. The contrast between black and cream holds either way.

Is AA#047 a print or an original painting?

An original. AA#047 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of AA#047 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
