About this painting

A single dark brown column drops from the top edge into a stack of cream, ivory and greige blocks, and stops just short of the middle like a shadow falling down a pale wall. Around it the rectangles overlap at slight angles, some crisp-edged, some dragged thin so the layer beneath breathes through.

The lower half opens out: a long pale wedge slices diagonally from the bottom edge toward the right, and smudges of warm grey gather in the lower left corner. Fine dark scratches run down the right-hand blocks. Everything is scraped on in broad, flat passes, so the finish is dry and chalky rather than glossy.

AA#677 is an original abstract geometric painting showing overlapping beige, cream and dark brown rectangular blocks, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Bone, sand and espresso tones belong with rooms made from natural materials: limewashed plaster, travertine, walnut, undyed linen. In a guest suite it can hang over the headboard or on the wall the bed faces; in a boardroom the one dark bar gives a long blank wall some weight without colour that competes with a screen. Because the dark mass sits high, hang it with the upper third near standing eye level so the column reads first.

Specified for guest room & suite, spa & wellness, bedroom and meeting & boardroom; it reads as peaceful and cozy & warm.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for AA#677 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on AA#677 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

What does the brown column in AA#677 do to a pale room?

It gives the eye an anchor. Take it away and what remains is a field of cream and greige that could vanish against an off-white wall; the single espresso bar holds the composition together and echoes dark timber, bronze fittings or a walnut bed frame placed beneath it.

Does the scraped finish of AA#677 show under soft spa or bedroom lighting?

Mainly when the light comes from one side. The flat scraped passes leave dry, chalky edges where the blocks overlap, and a wall washer or a lamp beside the bed picks them out. Under even overhead light it reads instead as a quiet, matte field of soft neutrals.

Is AA#677 a print or an original painting?

An original. AA#677 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of AA#677 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
