a large vertical impressionist painting of a misty sage green valley, dark forested slopes meeting in the middle where a thin white waterfall drops into shadow below a pale peak, in raised knife-built texture

Studio photograph of the actual canvas. Yours is repainted to your dimensions, so brushwork will differ slightly — that is what an original is.

About this painting

Two forested slopes close in from either side and a thin white waterfall slips between them, dropping out of the mist into a shadowed gorge. Almost everything above is fog: a pale grey-green haze with the ghost of a snowy peak barely showing through.

The palette stays within one family, sage, moss, slate and off-white, so the painting works through surface rather than colour. Both slopes are combed with fine, wave-like ridges that follow the contours of the mountain, deepest on the right-hand flank, while the mist is smoothed almost flat, and the eye drops from soft to rough as it follows the water down.

IA#865 is an original impressionist landscape painting showing misty green mountain valley with a waterfall, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Its near-monochrome sage suits rooms built on restraint: limewash or clay plaster walls, pale oak, linen, stone basins. Choose a wall where someone stops for a moment, such as the head of a treatment bed, the end wall a corridor walks toward, or above a low bench at a guest suite entrance. The tall shape makes a modest ceiling feel higher; at the larger sizes keep its lower edge close to the furniture below.

Specified for spa & wellness, corridor & circulation, guest room & suite and bedroom; it reads as calming and peaceful.

Pairs well with

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for IA#865 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Because the surface is not rolled, the choice is between stretched, ready to hang, and stretched in a frame; a frame costs more.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on IA#865 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Is the mist at the top of IA#865 textured as well?

Very little. The haze in the upper part of the canvas is blended smooth with only faint swirls, so it reads as soft air. The raised work is concentrated on the two slopes, which is why the valley seems to come forward while the peak recedes into the fog.

Does IA#865 need a coloured wall behind it?

No, it reads best against warm, quiet neutrals such as putty, mushroom or limewashed white. A strong wall colour would compete with its soft sage. On a cool bright white, warm the setting with an oak frame or nearby timber so the greys do not turn cold.

Is IA#865 a print or an original painting?

An original. IA#865 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of IA#865 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
