About this painting

Grey mountain peaks dissolve into white mist at the top of the canvas, while the slopes below erupt in thick ridges of emerald, bottle green and acid lime.

The paint is heaviest in the lower half, where wide palette-knife sweeps stand up off the surface and catch light like wet leaves. A pale lime valley cuts diagonally from the centre towards the bottom edge, and the darkest greens gather in the lower corners. The upper third is almost bare white, so the picture moves from near nothing to dense, saturated colour in a short distance.

IA#114 is an original impressionist landscape painting showing grey misty mountain ridges above bright green knife-textured hills, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Strong enough to hold a dark wall: charcoal plaster, smoked oak or black-framed glass partitions all suit it. In a boardroom, put it on the end wall facing the door, where the green is the first thing seen and the misty top keeps it from feeling heavy. Pair it with grey boucle, concrete or stone, and keep any other green in the room to plants. A wall washer from above brings up the knife ridges.

Specified for lobby & reception, meeting & boardroom, workspace & office and living room; it reads as bold and peaceful.

Pairs well with

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for IA#114 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on IA#114 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Is IA#114 a real mountain range?

No particular range is shown. The peaks are built from sweeping grey strokes that read as rock and cloud at once, more an impression of mountain weather than a portrait of a place, which keeps the canvas neutral for offices and hotels anywhere.

Why is the top of IA#114 left so pale?

The white mist gives the heavy green half somewhere to recede to. Take the mist away and the greens would merge into one dark mass; keep it, and your gaze starts at the bright, quiet top and drops into the textured slopes, which also makes a tall canvas feel taller on the wall.

Is IA#114 a print or an original painting?

An original. IA#114 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of IA#114 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
