About this painting

Pale mint water seems to wind between a grey bank and a cream sandbar, as if an estuary had been photographed from high above and then carved.

The grey mass on the left is dusted with tiny pale specks and finished with a raised white rim where it meets the mint. Inside the mint channel, thin threads of relief branch and rejoin like currents. On the right, a cream ribbon of stacked ridges arcs out from the top and bends away to the right side. The relief is shallow and smooth-topped, closer to poured sand than to broken stone.

TA#583 is an original textured geometric painting showing flowing plaster ridges in sage, grey and cream, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a sculpted relief surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Low contrast keeps it easy to live with through a long meeting: hang it facing the chair at the top of a boardroom table, or in a home study on the wall behind your desk, where its pale tones will not flare on camera. Pale ash, white oak, grey wool felt and brushed concrete all suit it. Because the relief is shallow, a ceiling wall-washer works better than a single spotlight, and a wall facing a big window flattens its ridges by day.

Specified for corridor & circulation, meeting & boardroom, workspace & office and home office; it reads as calming and peaceful.

Pairs well with

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for TA#583 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Because the surface is not rolled, the choice is between stretched, ready to hang, and stretched in a frame; a frame costs more.
Surface
Sculpted relief is built up in layers with drying time between them, so it costs more than a flat painting of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on TA#583 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Is the green in TA#583 sage or mint?

Closer to mint. It is a pale, slightly blue-green, lighter and cooler than a true sage, so it sits best beside eucalyptus, celadon and duck-egg tones. Next to an olive or grey-green sage fabric it can look icy, so compare it with a swatch from the room.

How does TA#583 look on a grey wall?

It works best on a wall a step warmer or lighter than its own grey; white or warm stone lets the grey bank read as a distinct shape. On a mid-grey wall the left side merges into the paint and the canvas reads as mint and cream alone, which can suit a very quiet scheme.

Is TA#583 a print or an original painting?

An original. TA#583 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of TA#583 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
