Studio photograph of the actual canvas. Yours is repainted to your dimensions, so brushwork will differ slightly — that is what an original is.

About this painting

Silvery ridges of thick paint loop and coil down the middle of a warm greige canvas, like ripples spreading on still water seen from above.

The loops form a loose column from top to bottom, tightest in the upper half and opening into wide S-bends near the base. Toward the edges the relief flattens into a plainer gray-taupe ground, with a faint diagonal shadow band down the left. Every ridge has a pale, pearly crest and a darker underside, so the canvas works like a drawing made in relief rather than in line.

TA#150 is an original textured geometric painting showing monochrome beige plaster with swirling ridged ripple lines, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a sculpted relief surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

As a single warm neutral it settles into greige, mushroom and putty schemes and lets texture lead: the end wall of a boardroom, or a hotel bedroom furnished in boucle and oak. It does need light across it. A recessed wall washer close to the plaster makes the coils stand out sharply, while light aimed straight at it flattens them. Black or bronze metal nearby gives the soft tones an edge.

Specified for guest room & suite, spa & wellness, meeting & boardroom and bedroom; it reads as calming and peaceful.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for TA#150 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Because the surface is not rolled, the choice is between stretched, ready to hang, and stretched in a frame; a frame costs more.
Surface
Sculpted relief is built up in layers with drying time between them, so it costs more than a flat painting of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on TA#150 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Why are the loops in TA#150 gathered down the centre?

So the edges stay calm. The coils run in a loose column while both sides flatten into plain gray-taupe, which frames the movement and keeps a large canvas from looking busy. It also lets lamps, plants or chairs stand close on either side without fighting the pattern.

What sits well beside TA#150 in a pair or group?

Something quieter: a plain ivory or taupe textured canvas, or a smaller abstract with one curved line, keeps the coils in the lead. Two equally busy relief pieces side by side tend to cancel each other out, and strong colour nearby makes its greige look dull.

Is TA#150 a print or an original painting?

An original. TA#150 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of TA#150 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
