About this painting

Layered folds of sand-coloured plaster pour from the top edge and settle into the lower left like the striped walls of a sandstone canyon. Pale cream arcs fan across the upper half; below them the tones deepen through camel and tan to dark brown in the bottom-left corner, where the plaster is scored with fine streaks like weathered rock.

A bright white ridge runs along the edge of the darker band and follows it toward the lower right. Opposite, a smooth cream field opens between the folds, the one calm area on a busy surface.

TA#681 is an original textured landscape painting showing beige and tan sculpted plaster waves sweeping across a cream field, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a sculpted relief surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Its folds run on a diagonal from the upper left down toward the lower right, which gives a corridor wall a sense of direction; place it so people pass in that same direction and the movement carries them along. Microcement, travertine, smoked oak and rough linen all suit its sand palette. In a spa or a guest suite, keep the wall around it bare so the relief is the only texture in view.

Specified for spa & wellness, guest room & suite, bedroom and corridor & circulation; it reads as calming and peaceful.

Pairs well with

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for TA#681 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Because the surface is not rolled, the choice is between stretched, ready to hang, and stretched in a frame; a frame costs more.
Surface
Sculpted relief is built up in layers with drying time between them, so it costs more than a flat painting of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on TA#681 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Is TA#681 meant to show sea waves or sand dunes?

Neither is drawn literally. The single sand palette and stacked ridges read most like wind-cut sandstone or dune slopes, while the curling pale arcs at the top could be drapery or a breaking wave. It is abstract enough that each viewer settles on a different reading.

Should the wall behind TA#681 match its beige?

Better a step cooler or darker: warm grey, putty, stone or mid-grey concrete. A wall in exactly the same beige can swallow the outline of the canvas, while a cooler grey makes the camel ridges look warmer and the cream field brighter.

Is TA#681 a print or an original painting?

An original. TA#681 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of TA#681 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
