About this painting

A broken line of cobalt-blue drops wanders down the middle of the canvas, marking the edge where beige sand gives way to white surf, as if the beach were seen from straight above.

On the left, the sand is combed into soft arcs of beige and white, sprinkled with fine dark specks like wet grit. On the right, the foam is drawn in hundreds of thin curving ridges threaded with flicks of blue, so the water seems to move while the sand lies still. The blue beads are the only saturated colour, clustering most densely just below the centre before thinning out towards both ends.

TA#840 is an original textured seascape painting showing ridged white foam wave meeting beige sand with cobalt-blue blobs along the shoreline, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a sculpted relief surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

With only one saturated colour, the scheme around it can stay simple: repeat the cobalt once, in a glazed vase, a towel stack or a strip of mosaic tile, and keep everything else sand, white and pale grey. Brushed nickel and limed oak suit it better than brass. Along a corridor of guest-room doors the vertical blue seam works like a waymark; light it from directly overhead so the foam ridges stand out against the flatter sand.

Specified for spa & wellness, corridor & circulation, bathroom and entryway & hallway; it reads as peaceful and uplifting.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for TA#840 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Because the surface is not rolled, the choice is between stretched, ready to hang, and stretched in a frame; a frame costs more.
Surface
Sculpted relief is built up in layers with drying time between them, so it costs more than a flat painting of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on TA#840 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Is TA#840 a beach seen from the air?

Yes, it reads as an aerial view: sand on the left, surf on the right and the tide line between them. There is no horizon or sky, so it reads half as pattern and half as seascape, which suits modern rooms that would reject a conventional beach scene.

Could the cobalt seam in TA#840 be painted teal or navy instead?

Yes. The blue beads are the only strong colour, so changing them shifts the mood without touching the beige sand and white foam: teal leans towards tropical water, navy feels calmer and more formal. A paint chip or scrap of fabric sent with the enquiry pins down the exact shade.

Is TA#840 a print or an original painting?

An original. TA#840 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of TA#840 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
