About this painting

Seen from straight overhead, a strip of pale sand runs down the canvas between a fringe of palm trees and a sea that deepens from mint to cobalt. Where sand meets water, the surf is heaped up in thick white knife ridges that stand high off the canvas and curl over like real foam.

The beach is crowded in miniature: blue parasols drawn as small rings, lozenges of red, yellow and violet for towels or boards, and dozens of single dots for bathers, some swimming out past the breakers. The deep water on the right is scraped flatter, with only a few raised whitecaps.

TA#015 is an original textured seascape painting showing aerial view of a sandy beach with palm trees, tiny umbrellas and sculpted white surf on blue sea, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a sculpted relief surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

With no horizon to line up against, the picture tolerates being hung a little high or low, which helps where a hotel corridor bends, or over the massage couch in a spa cabin. Grey veined marble, bleached oak and white render set off its turquoise best. Light it from one side so the surf ridges cast real shadow; flat frontal light loses much of the relief.

Specified for spa & wellness, corridor & circulation, guest room & suite and bathroom; it reads as uplifting and bold.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for TA#015 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Because the surface is not rolled, the choice is between stretched, ready to hang, and stretched in a frame; a frame costs more.
Surface
Sculpted relief is built up in layers with drying time between them, so it costs more than a flat painting of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on TA#015 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

What are the small coloured marks scattered over the sand and sea in TA#015?

They are beachgoers seen from far above. The blue rings are open parasols, the elongated red, yellow and violet shapes read as towels or boards, and the single dots are people, some lying on the sand and some swimming beyond the surf.

Is the relief on TA#015 the same depth across the whole beach?

No. The thickest paste follows the diagonal surf line, where white crests stand proud and curl like breaking foam, and the palm crowns are raised too. The sand is laid in lower strokes, and the deep blue water at the right is the flattest area of the canvas.

Is TA#015 a print or an original painting?

An original. TA#015 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of TA#015 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
