About this painting

Broad sweeps of sage green fan up from the lower left, each one pushed out of paint thick enough to hold a sharp ridge and a rounded lip at its end. A smaller green fan sits at the top left, and against both a sand-beige mass folds down the right side in crumpled, overlapping layers.

Between them the white ground is scratched with fine grey-green dry-brush marks, the only flat area on the canvas. Two black wedges, one in the top right corner and one low on the right, are the darkest notes and stop the soft colours from drifting.

TA#641 is an original textured geometric painting showing large sculpted sage-green and beige knife sweeps on white, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a sculpted relief surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Ridged paint this thick changes through the day, so choose a wall that catches low sun from the side: the side wall of a study, or the wall beside a guest-room desk. Sage and sand sit well with pale ash, boucle, cane and off-white plaster, and a green velvet chair or olive cushions pick up the left half. In an open workspace it softens a run of glass partitions and grey carpet.

Specified for guest room & suite, workspace & office, living room and home office; it reads as calming and peaceful.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for TA#641 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Because the surface is not rolled, the choice is between stretched, ready to hang, and stretched in a frame; a frame costs more.
Surface
Sculpted relief is built up in layers with drying time between them, so it costs more than a flat painting of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on TA#641 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Are the green shapes in TA#641 leaves or just strokes of paint?

Both readings work. They are abstract sweeps, each ending in a rounded lip of paint, but grouped in two fans they suggest large tropical leaves. That is why the painting sits easily beside real plants and botanical fabrics without being a literal plant picture.

Could the sage green in TA#641 be swapped for olive or terracotta?

Yes. The composition depends on light against dark more than on the exact hue, so the two fans can be repainted in olive, forest green or a muted terracotta while the sand-beige mass, white centre and two black wedges stay as they are. The new colour shows in the progress photos before the thick layers go on.

Is TA#641 a print or an original painting?

An original. TA#641 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of TA#641 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
