About this painting

A pink house front fills the canvas almost to its edges, with a tall cobalt door at street level and a small figure in a navy jacket pausing on the step.

Above the door, powder-blue French windows open onto a black wrought-iron balcony held on ochre brackets, and two shuttered windows sit at the left. A palm leans in from the right, its blue-green fronds casting soft shadow across the wall, and a potted agave waits by the step. Colour goes on in broad, even, matte blocks, with a few loose strokes left in the stucco.

CA#502 is an original colorful cityscape painting showing flat pastel illustration of a pink house facade with blue shutters, a blue door, a palm and a small figure, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

The facade is frontal and almost symmetrical, so hang it on axis: centred at the end of an entrance hall, opposite a guest-room door, or facing the till in a boutique. Its two blues give a scheme to follow, powder blue for tiles or upholstery and cobalt for a single lacquered piece, and the pink stays fresh beside white plaster, pale terrazzo and polished nickel. Above a desk in a home office it adds sunshine without fussy detail.

Specified for guest room & suite, gallery & retail, entryway & hallway and home office; it reads as uplifting and peaceful.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for CA#502 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on CA#502 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Who is the figure at the door in CA#502?

No one in particular. She is painted small and without features, in a navy jacket and a pink skirt that repeats the wall, so she reads as someone arriving home rather than a portrait. Her real job is scale: she shows how tall the door and windows are.

Is the house in CA#502 a real building?

Not a named one. It gathers details from warm coastal towns, such as pastel stucco, shutters, an iron balcony and a palm in the street, into one facade, so it can stand for a resort, a seaside hotel or a Mediterranean holiday without pointing to a specific address.

Is CA#502 a print or an original painting?

An original. CA#502 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of CA#502 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
