About this painting

Magenta foxglove spires shoot up the right side of the canvas until their tips break into a blue summer sky, while a shallow bay curls in from the left toward a sandy, grass-topped headland. Below them the bank is crowded with blooms: cream and pink cosmos-like heads, cobalt cornflowers, red poppies and a few marigold-yellow flowers leaning out over the water.

Each petal is pressed on as its own curl of thick paint with the knife. Water and sky get flatter horizontal strokes and a few ridged white clouds, so the open left side stays quiet and the flowers carry the weight.

CA#454 is an original colorful floral painting showing impasto foxgloves and wildflowers above a blue coastal bay, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Its height and narrow-feeling composition belong on a tall strip of wall: beside a guest-room window, between twin basins in a hotel bathroom, clear of shower steam, or at the end of a corridor where the spires echo the line of a door frame. Sea blue and grass green settle against white oak, pale terrazzo and chalky lime plaster, and the pinks pick up blush or rose bed linen.

Specified for guest room & suite, corridor & circulation, bedroom and bathroom; it reads as uplifting and peaceful.

Pairs well with

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for CA#454 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on CA#454 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Are the tall magenta spires in CA#454 foxgloves?

They read as foxgloves, with bell-shaped flowers stacked up a single stem, although the loose knife work leaves room to see hollyhock or larkspur in them. The smaller heads around them are simpler: open cosmos-like discs, blue cornflowers and scattered red poppies.

What changes when CA#454 is seen up close rather than from across a corridor?

At corridor distance the picture simplifies into three zones: flowers on the right, water on the left, sky above. Step closer and the separate petal curls, the ridged foam-white clouds and the horizontal ripples in the bay appear, so it works where people pass right beside it.

Is CA#454 a print or an original painting?

An original. CA#454 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of CA#454 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
