About this painting

A ballerina stands with her back turned, satin pointe shoes slung over one shoulder by their ribbons and her dark hair pinned in a tight bun. White ribbon laces her pink bodice down the spine to a soft bow at the waist, and the tutu flares below, deep rose on the left fading almost to white on the right.

Behind her the ground splits: warm beige and ochre strokes on the left, with blurred brown shapes that never resolve into objects, and clear turquoise on the right. Long sweeping strokes follow the fall of the skirt, so she seems caught in a pause rather than posed.

CA#1195 is an original colorful figurative painting showing ballerina seen from behind in a pink tutu against turquoise and beige abstract ground, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Because the dancer faces away, there is no gaze to meet, which suits rooms meant for privacy: a bedroom, a hotel guest suite, the dressing area off a bathroom. On warm white or pale plaster the turquoise reads clean and bright; against blush paint the tutu's pink fades into the wall and the turquoise takes over. Hang it with the centre near 145 cm so her head and shoulders sit just above standing eye height.

Specified for guest room & suite, corridor & circulation, bedroom and entryway & hallway; it reads as romantic and peaceful.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for CA#1195 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on CA#1195 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

What is the dancer carrying over her shoulder in CA#1195?

A pair of satin pointe shoes, hung by their ribbons. It is the detail that tells the story: she is resting between class and performance rather than dancing, which gives the painting its quiet, backstage mood instead of the drama of a stage scene.

Why does the tutu in CA#1195 fade from rose to white?

It is how the skirt is given volume. The layers turning toward the turquoise side are washed nearly white, those on the left stay deep rose, so the tulle looks full with very few strokes, and each half of the skirt is tied to the colour behind it.

Is CA#1195 a print or an original painting?

An original. CA#1195 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of CA#1195 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
