About this painting

A hot-pink elephant plods left across the bottom half of the canvas, its hide covered in fine red swirls and loops like a patterned textile, while a blue cactus tree with drooping, beaded arms rises behind its back.

Magenta dragon fruit hang from the cactus, and the night-dark ground behind is broken into a grid of small rust, copper and gold squares, with a few flat yellow blocks and black palm fronds closing in at the sides. Everything is painted flat and matte. The energy comes from pattern laid against pattern, and from hot pink set directly against teal and navy.

CA#467 is an original colorful animal painting showing pink elephant beneath a stylised blue tree with red fruit against a dark mosaic backdrop, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

A dark, saturated canvas like this wants a confident setting: the wall behind a cocktail bar, the backdrop to a boutique hotel's reception desk, or a retail corridor that shoppers pass twice. Charcoal panelling, smoked oak, brass and velvet in plum or teal all stand up to it, while a pale wall turns it into a window onto a night garden. Light it evenly from the front, because the fine line pattern on the elephant disappears in shadow.

Specified for gallery & retail, lobby & reception, restaurant & bar and entryway & hallway; it reads as bold and dramatic.

Pairs well with

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for CA#467 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on CA#467 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

What is the tree above the elephant in CA#467?

A stylised dragon-fruit cactus: segmented blue and teal arms hanging in loops, dotted along their length, with scaly magenta fruit at the tips. Treating a cactus as a tropical tree belongs to the same folk-art logic as the patterned pink elephant beneath it.

Which colour in CA#467 should an interior scheme pick up?

Take one, not all of them. Teal or peacock blue from the cactus suits banquettes and upholstery; the rust and copper squares suit timber and metal finishes; the hot pink works best in small doses, such as a cushion or a glass vase, rather than across a whole wall.

Is CA#467 a print or an original painting?

An original. CA#467 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of CA#467 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
