About this painting

A single pear, lemon yellow on its lit side and deepening to amber and burnt orange on the other, rests on a grey stone ledge against deep navy.

Light falls from the left, leaving a soft white highlight on the fruit and a shadow sliding off to the right. The stalk twists upward with a few sage-green leaves trailing from it, painted in loose, dry-brushed strokes that let the dark show through at their edges. The ledge is handled roughly, in scratchy grey marks, so the smooth, freckled skin of the pear is the most finished thing on the canvas.

HA#227 is an original hyperrealist still life painting showing a single yellow pear with leaves on a stone ledge, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 10 standard sizes run from 24×24 in (61×61 cm) to 72×72 in (183×183 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

A still life of fruit belongs where food is served or talked about: the wall behind a chef's table, a private dining room or a wine bar's corner booth. The navy ground looks best on walls a shade lighter, such as stone grey, putty or warm white, and beside dark oak or walnut. At the larger square sizes the pear grows bigger than a human head, which gives one simple object real presence across a room.

Specified for restaurant & bar, dining room, meeting & boardroom and home office; it reads as cozy & warm and moody.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for HA#227 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 24×24 in to 72×72 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on HA#227 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Why is the pear in HA#227 set against navy rather than black?

Navy keeps the darkness cool, so the yellow and amber of the pear look warmer by contrast than they would on black. It also lets the painting sit beside blue upholstery, denim-toned textiles or slate, where a black ground could feel heavy.

Could HA#227 become one of a set of fruit still lifes?

It holds a wall alone, but for a row along a dining room a matching quince, fig or apple can be commissioned on the same navy ground and stone ledge, at the same size and with the fruit at a similar scale, so the canvases read as a series.

Is HA#227 a print or an original painting?

An original. HA#227 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of HA#227 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
