About this painting

A loose bouquet of dried flowers in cream, blush and tan bursts from a near-black vase that almost disappears into the charcoal wall behind it. The canvas is cut in two, dark above and mustard yellow below, where a cloth covers the table and drops toward the viewer with a few thin fold lines.

The heads are built from small feathered strokes: thistle-like puffs, a chartreuse plume, and pale oval pods hanging from wiry stems on the left, so the arrangement spreads wider on that side. Everything around it is kept smooth and nearly empty, which makes the pale flowers glow against the dark.

CA#220 is an original colorful still life painting showing pale dried bouquet in a dark vase on a mustard tablecloth, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 10 standard sizes run from 24×24 in (61×61 cm) to 72×72 in (183×183 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

The hard horizontal split looks best above furniture with a matching line: a walnut sideboard, a boardroom credenza, a long banquette in a wine bar. Set the canvas low enough that its mustard cloth seems to carry on from the real surface below. Mustard picks up cognac leather, brass and ochre velvet. The charcoal upper half needs a white or pale grey wall and its own downlight, because a dark ground soaks up ambient light.

Specified for restaurant & bar, meeting & boardroom, dining room and home office; it reads as moody and cozy & warm.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for CA#220 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 24×24 in to 72×72 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on CA#220 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Why does the vase in CA#220 almost vanish?

It is painted nearly as dark as the wall behind it, so only its rounded base shows clearly where it meets the mustard cloth. With the container held back, the pale dried heads seem to float on the black and the bouquet becomes the whole subject.

Are the dried flowers in CA#220 raised from the canvas?

No, the whole canvas is smooth. The charcoal ground is flat and even, the tabletop shows lighter yellow brush drags running sideways, and the flowers are worked in fine feathered strokes. Across a room it looks almost photographic; up close the brush is easy to follow.

Is CA#220 a print or an original painting?

An original. CA#220 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of CA#220 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
