About this painting

A lone camel and rider pick their way across golden dunes under a pale white sun, dwarfed by the long curving ridges of sand around them.

In the foreground a prickly pear studded with red flowers throws a lavender shadow, and a tall saguaro stands on the crest of the dune behind. Every slope is split into a sunlit yellow face and a cool lilac-grey shade, which gives the sand its shape without any texture. Farther back, a line of small palms crosses the middle distance and purple hills sit low under a lemon sky. The paint is smooth and evenly blended, with crisp edges where light meets shade.

CA#761 is an original colorful landscape painting showing camel rider crossing yellow dunes with cacti under a hazy sun, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Its sunlit yellows lift a windowless corridor or an inner entrance hall, where the canvas stands in for daylight. Desert resorts and Southwestern or Arabian-themed hotels can use it in guest rooms, on the narrow wall by the door. Sand-coloured plaster, rattan, terracotta tile and a deep green velvet chair that answers the cactus all sit naturally with it. An even wash of ceiling light flatters it; one narrow beam would leave hot spots on the pale dunes.

Specified for guest room & suite, corridor & circulation, bedroom and entryway & hallway; it reads as peaceful and cozy & warm.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for CA#761 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on CA#761 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Is the desert in CA#761 a real place?

No, it is an imagined scene. The tall saguaro belongs to the deserts of the American Southwest, while the camel suggests the Sahara or Arabia, so the picture blends both into one sunny dreamscape. As a result it works in a Southwestern scheme and a Middle Eastern one alike.

Where is the strongest contrast in CA#761?

Low on the right, where the dark green prickly pear and its red flowers meet a bright yellow dune and a lilac shadow. Everything else is pale and close in tone, so that cactus cluster is what a viewer finds first, before travelling up to the camel and the sun.

Is CA#761 a print or an original painting?

An original. CA#761 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of CA#761 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
