About this painting

More than a dozen sunflowers spill from a round vase, their yellow and tangerine petals laid on in short knife strokes around dark brown centres, while two heads droop on curving stems to the left. The vase is split by the light: pale gold on the left where it falls, deep navy on the shadowed side.

Behind the bouquet the ground drifts from lilac and periwinkle to a patch of peach at upper right, and the tabletop is littered with fallen red and green fragments. The spiky leaves are worked more thickly than the background, so the flowers stand forward.

CA#1146 is an original colorful floral painting showing bouquet of yellow sunflowers in a vase on a blue and pink ground, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Sunflowers suit rooms where people eat: a breakfast room, the wall beside a café counter, or a dining room facing a window so morning light lifts the yellow. The navy vase and lilac ground make it easy against blue-grey walls, with rush-seat chairs, pale oak and yellow ceramics. At the smaller vertical sizes it fills a narrow wall between doors; at the largest it can hold the back wall of a florist or gift shop.

Specified for gallery & retail, corridor & circulation, dining room and living room; it reads as uplifting and cozy & warm.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for CA#1146 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on CA#1146 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Why do two of the sunflowers in CA#1146 hang down?

Heavy sunflower heads bend on their stems, and still-life painters often let one or two droop to break the round outline of a bouquet. Here the two at left lead the eye down from the full head of flowers toward the vase and the scattered leaves on the table.

Will CA#1146 suit a blue and yellow dining room?

Yes. The shadowed side of the vase is close to navy, the background is periwinkle and lilac, and the petals are a saturated yellow and tangerine, so blue-and-white tiles or a mustard banquette echo it directly. Avoid a strong orange wall, which would compete with the flowers.

Is CA#1146 a print or an original painting?

An original. CA#1146 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of CA#1146 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
