About this painting

A blue farm cart with one big spoked wheel stands in the middle of a golden harvest field, its long shafts resting on the stubble while work goes on around it. Behind it, flat bands of lemon, gold and lime run back to orange-roofed farmhouses, a small horse and cart on the track, and blue-violet hills under a turquoise sky.

Nearer, a dark green strip of crop rows gives way to a long fence of pale palings, then cut stalks in short, thick dashes of yellow and ochre. Each stroke follows the direction of what it describes, so the field seems to shimmer in the heat.

IA#1157 is an original impressionist landscape painting showing yellow wheat field harvest with blue cart, farmhouses and distant hills, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Bread, grain and harvest make an obvious story for a farm-to-table restaurant, a bakery café or the breakfast room of a country hotel. It looks right with terracotta floor tiles, rush-seated chairs, scrubbed oak and olive-green paintwork, and it warms a north-facing hallway that gets little sun. The bands stack upward from fence to hills, so on a stair wall the scene unfolds as people climb.

Specified for corridor & circulation, entryway & hallway, restaurant & bar and living room; it reads as uplifting and cozy & warm.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for IA#1157 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on IA#1157 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Who is the small figure at the right edge of IA#1157?

A field worker in a hat, bent among the green crop rows just above the paling fence. Small and half hidden, it is the only person close to the viewer; the other sign of labour is the horse and cart far back on the track between the fields.

Why is the cart in IA#1157 painted blue?

Blue sits opposite orange-yellow, so the cart is the one strong cool shape in a field of gold and it holds the middle of the picture. The same blue returns in the distant hills and in the outlines of the farm buildings, which ties the foreground to the horizon.

Is IA#1157 a print or an original painting?

An original. IA#1157 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of IA#1157 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
