About this painting

Two slender plum-brown trunks climb almost to the top edge, and behind them a pale clearing glows as if sunlight were striking the ground just out of sight. Their branches open into a canopy of hundreds of separate dabs in gold, ochre, butter yellow, lilac and white, each a raised petal of paint, so the foliage flickers instead of massing.

Below a dark green band of distant woods, the floor turns teal and turquoise, scattered with yellow, orange and pink fallen leaves. Long blue shadows run from the trunk bases to the lower left corner: the light is coming from deep in the wood, towards you.

IA#1098 is an original impressionist landscape painting showing tall tree trunks in a dappled autumn forest with yellow foliage and a teal-pink floor, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Tall upright trunks echo door frames, pilasters and slatted timber, and it wants a wall seen square-on from several paces away: a corridor's far wall, where the bright clearing reads as a destination, or the slim wall beside a study window. White oak, pale plaster and petrol-blue fabric suit its teal floor. Daylight keeps that teal crisp, while a warm evening lamp pushes the canopy towards amber.

Specified for corridor & circulation, workspace & office, entryway & hallway and living room; it reads as uplifting and vibrant.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for IA#1098 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on IA#1098 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

What time of year is IA#1098 set in?

Early autumn, by the look of it. The canopy has turned gold and ochre but keeps plenty of green, and the fallen leaves are fresh yellow, orange and pink rather than brown. The teal and turquoise floor keeps it from feeling like a bare, late-season wood.

How raised are the leaf dabs on IA#1098?

Each leaf is a separate thick dab with a ridged edge, so a lamp from one side makes the canopy and the forest floor cast tiny shadows and the whole surface flickers. The trunks and the glimpses of sky are smoother, which keeps the trees easy to read.

Is IA#1098 a print or an original painting?

An original. IA#1098 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of IA#1098 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
