About this painting

A green wheat field heaves in curling, comma-shaped strokes beneath turquoise and lilac clouds that twist across a cream sky.

Paint is laid on thickly, each stroke following the bend of the stems, so the field seems to move in the wind: lime, emerald and teal curling over one another, with white highlights flicked along their edges. A scatter of yellow flowers sits just below the centre and two thin stalks rise past the horizon. The sky is just as worked, its clouds built from looping strokes that echo the field, in the swirling post-impressionist manner.

IA#317 is an original impressionist landscape painting showing green wheat field under a swirling turquoise and white sky, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

The curling strokes give the eye something to follow, which suits places where people wait: a reception seating area, a consulting room, the wall opposite a desk in a study. Because the brushwork is heavy, angle a ceiling spot in from the left or right so each ridge throws a small shadow; flat frontal light hides them. Plain white or pale grey walls let the swirls breathe, and patterned wallpaper next to it fights the movement.

Specified for workspace & office, lobby & reception, entryway & hallway and living room; it reads as uplifting and vibrant.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for IA#317 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on IA#317 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Why is the brushwork in IA#317 so curly?

The curls are how the painting shows wind. Each stroke follows the bend of the wheat, and the clouds are drawn with the same looping marks, so ground and sky move together. It is what keeps a canvas that is almost all green from feeling still.

Can the turquoise sky in IA#317 be shifted towards blue?

Yes. The turquoise and lilac clouds on their cream ground can be painted closer to a soft cornflower blue if the room already carries blue textiles, while the lime, emerald and teal field stays as it is. Send a swatch or paint reference to match.

Is IA#317 a print or an original painting?

An original. IA#317 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of IA#317 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
