About this painting

Red poppies are scattered right across a dense summer meadow, half hidden among bright green stems, white daisies and yellow and lilac flecks, with only a thin strip of deep blue sky along the top edge. There is no path, distant view or single main flower; the eye moves along the canvas from bloom to bloom.

Every petal and leaf is a separate knife mark, laid on thick so the surface is rough and crowded, and some flecks spray up into the sky like seeds caught in the wind. Darker greens and purples at the bottom give the planting a base.

IA#072 is an original impressionist floral painting showing dense meadow of red poppies and wildflowers in bright green grass under a blue sky, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 11 standard sizes run from 36×18 in (91×46 cm) to 100×50 in (254×127 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

With no single centre, the meadow reads evenly from any angle, which helps on walls seen side-on: behind a bar viewed from the stools, or the long wall of a lobby lounge. It brings colour to monochrome schemes of white plaster, black cabinetry and grey marble without needing other accents. Over a low media unit or credenza, choose a width around two-thirds of the furniture below and keep the bottom edge 20 to 25 cm above it.

Specified for lobby & reception, restaurant & bar, living room and dining room; it reads as vibrant and uplifting.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for IA#072 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 36×18 in to 100×50 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on IA#072 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Can IA#072 work in a room without any red?

Yes. The poppies are spread in small doses rather than one block, and the canvas is mostly green and lime, so it comes across as mostly green, with red accents. One red object in the room, a vase or a cushion, is enough to connect them; more than that starts to compete.

What are the light flecks at the top of IA#072?

Small knife strokes of white, yellow, orange and green flicked up into the strip of blue sky, standing for petals and seed heads lifted above the grass. They soften the line between meadow and sky, so the top edge looks airy rather than cut off.

Is IA#072 a print or an original painting?

An original. IA#072 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of IA#072 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
