About this painting

Red poppies float above a summer meadow, their cupped petals heavy with paint, among cobalt cornflowers, yellow and orange blooms and dozens of white daisy dabs. Tall green stems and lilac spires rise through the lower two thirds and darken almost to black at the base, so the flowers seem to step forward out of shadow.

A band of pale blue sky closes the top, scraped on flat with a knife in horizontal sweeps. Every bloom below it is a raised dab with its own ridge, and the reds gather in a loose arc right of centre, the busiest part of the picture.

IA#036 is an original impressionist floral painting showing poppy meadow with blue cornflowers under an open sky, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 24×20 in (61×51 cm) to 80×60 in (203×153 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Wide and dense with colour, it lines up naturally with long furniture: a bistro banquette, a sideboard in a dining room, the back of a three-seat sofa or the wall above a guest-room desk. Natural oak, cane, terracotta tile and cream or stone walls let the red read cleanly; strongly patterned wallpaper fights the busy scatter of blooms. In a restaurant, warm downlights bring the poppies forward in the evening.

Specified for guest room & suite, restaurant & bar, living room and dining room; it reads as uplifting and vibrant.

Pairs well with

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for IA#036 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 24×20 in to 80×60 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on IA#036 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Are the blue flowers in IA#036 cornflowers?

Yes. A handful of cobalt cornflowers are scattered through the middle band among red poppies, white daisies, yellow and orange blooms and lilac spikes. Poppies and cornflowers growing together is a classic wild meadow pairing, often read as early summer in open countryside, which is why the scene feels warm rather than formal.

Does the dark base of IA#036 affect how high it should hang?

Yes. The bottom edge is nearly black-green, so the canvas looks grounded when it hangs low over furniture, roughly 20 to 25 cm above a sideboard or sofa back. Hung high on a bare wall, that dark band can feel heavy, so keep it close to whatever sits beneath it.

Is IA#036 a print or an original painting?

An original. IA#036 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of IA#036 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
