About this painting

Red poppies crowd the foreground, big open blooms with dark centres and orange edges, and behind them the field breaks into a patchwork of yellow, orange and turquoise that runs back to a rounded green tree and a line of blue-green woods.

Above, a cobalt sky is packed with white cumulus, painted as thickly as the flowers. The paint stands off the canvas in dabs and ridges throughout, and the colour is pushed hard: shadows in the field are turquoise and blue rather than brown, which keeps the whole surface bright.

IA#067 is an original impressionist floral painting showing countryside landscape with a red poppy field, distant trees and a blue sky of fluffy clouds, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Vertical, deep and full of colour, it suits a narrow wall that faces people as they come in: the hall wall straight ahead of a front door, or a lift lobby between two sets of doors. The field recedes from big poppies at the bottom to small trees in the middle, which gives a shallow space a feeling of depth. Plain white or warm grey walls, navy upholstery and natural oak let the reds and cobalt carry; patterned wallpaper fights it.

Specified for lobby & reception, corridor & circulation, entryway & hallway and living room; it reads as vibrant and uplifting.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for IA#067 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on IA#067 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Why are there blue patches in the field of IA#067?

They read as shadow, and perhaps standing water, among the flowers, painted in turquoise and cobalt instead of dark green. That choice repeats the sky colour down in the field, so sky and field hold together and the red poppies look hotter against the cool blue.

How does IA#067 differ from the wide poppy meadow IA#072?

IA#067 is a vertical view that runs back to trees and a large cloudy sky, so it has real depth. IA#072 is a wide, close look into the flowers with only a thin strip of sky, which makes it read almost like a pattern. One suits a tall wall, the other a long one.

Is IA#067 a print or an original painting?

An original. IA#067 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of IA#067 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
