About this painting

Bamboo sprays and white spring blossom tumble across a ground of acid lime green, painted so thickly that the petals curl up off the canvas in glossy ridges. A thin brown branch enters from the left edge and climbs toward the top, carrying most of the pale pink and white flowers, while the bamboo gathers in a denser, darker clump on the right.

Through the middle runs a band of pale grey, like mist or a dry streambed, ending in smudged charcoal stones along the bottom edge. Flecks of yellow, coral and teal are scattered among the leaves, so the green never settles into one flat colour.

IA#490 is an original impressionist floral painting showing loose scribbly spring blossoms and bamboo leaves on a lime green ground, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

The lime ground is bright enough to carry a wall of white or warm grey plaster on its own, and it grows livelier in daylight, so a corridor wall facing a run of windows suits it. Over a desk it keeps the room fresh without a loud scheme: pale oak, cane and soft grey upholstery, with any other greens held to sage or olive so the lime stays the only bright note. Place it where people pass within arm’s reach of the raised petals.

Specified for corridor & circulation, workspace & office, entryway & hallway and living room; it reads as uplifting and vibrant.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for IA#490 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on IA#490 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

What are the grey shapes along the bottom of IA#490?

They read as garden stones, dabbed in charcoal and pale grey at the foot of the bamboo. With the misty grey band above them they give the planting somewhere to grow from, so the blossom and leaves feel rooted in a garden instead of floating on green.

How do the raised petals of IA#490 behave in raking light?

Side light catches the curled tips of the white petals and the knife ridges in the lime ground, so the upper half sparkles while the flatter grey band below stays quiet. Under flat overhead light the relief softens and the colour does most of the work.

Is IA#490 a print or an original painting?

An original. IA#490 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of IA#490 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
