Impasto daisies and sunlit path wall decor

Big white daisies crowd both sides of a sandy footpath that winds away through a sunny meadow toward a gap in the trees. The flowers grow larger as they come forward, and the nearest ones at bottom right are sculpted almost in relief, each petal a separate curl of thick white paint around a raised yellow centre.

The path is laid in flat knife strokes of cream, peach and lilac, and the sky breaks into pale blue and pink plates of paint. Small magenta and violet buds sit low in the grass, the only cool notes in a warm yellow-green scene.
