About this painting

Pale lime and chartreuse sweep down the left of the canvas in broad knife strokes until they collide with a dark wall of teal on the right.

Where the two meet, the teal breaks into sky-blue spatter and dry, dragged marks that let the canvas weave show through. Low in the centre a bright yellow wedge cuts across the join with a single drip hanging from it, and a second yellow patch glows lower right inside the dark. The paint is thick, scraped on with the flat of the knife and left ridged, heaviest in the pale green zone. The hard light-dark split gives it tension.

AA#029 is an original abstract painting showing lime, teal and yellow dragged knife strokes, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

The vertical split helps on walls seen at an angle, such as a hallway or lobby passage, where the bright half reads first from one direction and the dark half from the other. Hang it with the teal side towards the darker corner and the lime towards the window so the room's light is balanced. In offices it brings energy to break-out zones without the harshness of primary colours, and holds up well against grey carpet tile and white walls.

Specified for workspace & office, lobby & reception, living room and entryway & hallway; it reads as vibrant and uplifting.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for AA#029 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on AA#029 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Is the green in AA#029 closer to yellow or to blue?

Both, which is its strength. The left side is a yellow-green close to chartreuse and lime, while the right is a blue-green teal near petrol. That span lets it sit with mustard, olive and ochre as easily as with navy and slate, so it bridges warm and cool schemes.

Where is the texture heaviest on AA#029?

In the pale green area on the left and around the yellow wedge, where the knife has left thick ridges and lifted edges. The teal side is flatter, worked with dry drag marks and spatter. A light source from the left will reveal the most relief across the surface.

Is AA#029 a print or an original painting?

An original. AA#029 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of AA#029 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
