About this painting

Golden poppies crowd the bottom half of the canvas, each bloom large and cup-shaped in the foreground and shrinking to flecks of orange as the meadow climbs toward a deep blue mountain lake. Beyond the water, sunlit ochre slopes and a cluster of dark firs lead up to grey peaks streaked with snow under heaped white cloud.

The paint is smooth and evenly handled, without raised ridges; depth comes from the change of scale in the flowers and from small white daisies scattered between them. The navy lake is the one cool band across the middle and keeps all that yellow from running together.

IA#885 is an original impressionist floral painting showing yellow poppy meadow before a lake and snow-capped mountains, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Yellow at this strength bounces light, so the canvas can lift a hallway or entry that has no window of its own. Hang it with the lake line near standing eye height: the poppies then fill the lower field of view as people walk past, and the peaks stay above. Off-white walls, natural wood and charcoal or navy accents that echo the lake suit it; grey-green or lilac walls dull the gold.

Specified for corridor & circulation, guest room & suite, entryway & hallway and living room; it reads as uplifting and peaceful.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for IA#885 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on IA#885 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Why are the front poppies of IA#885 so much larger than the rest?

The size change builds depth without any texture. Blooms at the bottom edge are close to life-size, those halfway up are dots, and that jump in scale makes the meadow seem to run a long way back to the lake before the mountains begin.

Is the surface of IA#885 flat or textured?

Flat to the touch. The poppies, grass and peaks are painted in smooth, crisp brush marks rather than built-up paint, so it looks identical whether lit from the front or the side. It suits a wall without raking light, where a heavily textured canvas would lose its effect.

Is IA#885 a print or an original painting?

An original. IA#885 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of IA#885 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
