About this painting

A small log cabin with a red roof and a chimney stands at the edge of a blue alpine lake, beneath a row of jagged snow peaks catching pale peach light. Tall pines rise behind the cabin on the left, and a gravel path winds from its door down through a sunny patch of yellow-green grass.

The lower third is a dense bank of wildflowers: pink and magenta spires like lupins, orange poppy heads, violet and white blossoms, laid on in short raised strokes. The lake and peaks are smoother and cooler, so the warmth gathers at the front of the picture.

IA#1003 is an original impressionist landscape painting showing log cabin by a mountain lake with pines and a wildflower path, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Hung at the end of a guest-floor corridor, the white peaks are what people see from far off, and the cabin and flowers resolve as they walk closer. In a suite it fits the narrow wall beside a window or wardrobe. In a lounge or chalet-style restaurant, hang it low, just above banquette height, so diners sit level with the flower bank and look up to the peaks. Natural oak, wool and moss-green fabric suit it.

Specified for guest room & suite, restaurant & bar, corridor & circulation and living room; it reads as uplifting and cozy & warm.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for IA#1003 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on IA#1003 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Are the pink spires in front of the cabin in IA#1003 meant to be lupins?

They read as lupins, the tall cone-shaped flowers that crowd mountain lakesides in early summer, mixed with orange poppy-like heads and small white and violet blooms. They are painted loosely, as an impression of a meadow rather than a botanical study.

Does the log cabin make IA#1003 feel rustic in a modern room?

Less than you might expect. The cabin is small and set to the left, so the painting reads first as mountains, water and flowers. In a clean white room with curved furniture it comes across as a holiday view; it only tips toward rustic when paired with timber cladding.

Is IA#1003 a print or an original painting?

An original. IA#1003 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of IA#1003 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
