About this painting

A small whitewashed cottage with an orange roof and one chimney peeks over a wooden fence, half hidden behind a mound of red blooms. To its left a broad leafy tree fills the edge of the canvas; to its right a dark cypress points straight up.

The mint green sky takes up most of the top half and is laid in short, slanting ridges that cross one another like wind on water. Below, a pale path runs up through beds of gold, coral and pink flowers, painted in dabs that grow larger and looser towards the bottom edge.

IA#057 is an original impressionist landscape painting showing whitewashed cottage behind a flowering garden and fence, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

The path climbs from the bottom edge into the garden, so it works at the far end of a hallway or a restaurant passage, where the walk seems to carry on into the picture. Limewashed walls in cream or warm grey, terracotta floors, rush-seat chairs and old pine suit it. Against sage or olive paint the mint sky softens; against bright white it looks fresher and greener.

Specified for entryway & hallway, corridor & circulation, restaurant & bar and living room; it reads as uplifting and cozy & warm.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for IA#057 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on IA#057 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Why is the sky in IA#057 green rather than blue?

Mint green is the complement of the red blooms below, so each makes the other look stronger. Expressive skies like this are a familiar device in post-impressionist landscape, where colour sets the mood of a place instead of recording the weather on the day.

Is the texture of IA#057 even across the canvas?

No. The sky has the most regular texture, short slanting ridges. The big tree is built from separate leaf-shaped dabs, and the flower beds are the thickest and most broken part, with blobs of red, gold and coral standing up from the canvas.

Is IA#057 a print or an original painting?

An original. IA#057 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of IA#057 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
