About this painting

A white bichon puppy in a pink jumper tilts its head and gazes straight out of the canvas, two black button eyes and a glossy nose set deep in a cloud of fur. The coat is built from hundreds of short flicked strokes, white over pale grey, so it looks soft enough to stroke even though the paint lies flat.
