About this painting

A single powder-blue bloom spreads six broad petals across a tall canvas, its shaggy gold centre ringed with flecks of deeper cobalt. The flower sits left of centre and is cut by the left edge, which brings it close and makes it larger than life.

Around it the teal ground is dragged in vertical strokes, with gold streaked down from the top and pooling at the lower right as if it had run. The petals are smooth and softly brushed, pale at the tips and greyer toward the middle; the gold is the only broken, uneven surface.

CA#817 is an original colorful floral painting showing one large pale-blue anemone-like bloom with a gold-leaf centre and gold-leaf ground, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Pale blue and teal sit naturally with stone and tile: the wall facing a freestanding bath, a powder room lined in marble, or a treatment-room corridor finished in pale oak. The gold answers brass taps, sconces and frame mouldings. Light it softly from the side or with a wall washer so the gold glints while the blue stays quiet; a hard beam aimed straight on can make the gold glare.

Specified for spa & wellness, guest room & suite, bedroom and bathroom; it reads as peaceful and romantic.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for CA#817 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on CA#817 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Why is the bloom in CA#817 cut off by the left edge?

Cropping exaggerates the scale: a bloom that will not fit inside the frame seems to sit right in front of you, as in a botanical close-up. It also sets the gold centre off-centre, which gives a vertical canvas more movement than a bloom placed squarely in the middle would have.

How does the gold in CA#817 change under different lighting?

It shifts more than the blue does. Under warm, low light the gold glows and the teal ground deepens; in daylight from a window it looks paler and the blue petals take over. A narrow spotlight aimed head-on can turn the gold streaks into hot spots, so angled light works better.

Is CA#817 a print or an original painting?

An original. CA#817 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of CA#817 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
