About this painting

Two blue-and-gold macaws lean in until their black hooked beaks almost touch, perched side by side on a twisting brown branch.

Their faces are white with fine dark stripes and crowned in green, and their chests glow orange where the knife laid the paint thickest. Turquoise and cobalt wings fold down either side, the long blue tails drop below the branch to the bottom edge, and navy feet grip the wood in curled claws. Behind them is no readable jungle, only broad knife strokes of lime, mustard, orange and green with a few teal leaf shapes below, so the birds stay sharp against a loose backdrop.

CA#782 is an original colorful animal painting showing two blue-and-gold macaws face to face on a branch against green foliage, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Tropical colour and a pair of birds suit a Latin American or Caribbean restaurant, a beach-club bar or a resort lobby, and they lift a plain dining room furnished in oak or rattan. The upright format fits the strip of wall between two tall windows, or the slim end wall of a bar counter. Because the heads meet at the top, hang it so the beaks sit a little above eye level; the picture then reads from the birds down to the branch.

Specified for restaurant & bar, lobby & reception, dining room and living room; it reads as bold and uplifting.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for CA#782 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on CA#782 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

What does a pair of macaws facing each other suggest?

Companionship. Macaws are known for forming long-lasting pairs, so two birds beak to beak are often read as a picture of partnership, which makes CA#782 a natural choice for a couple's home, a wedding venue or a restaurant built around shared tables.

How detailed are the feathers in CA#782?

Suggested rather than drawn. Each feather group is a single knife stroke of turquoise, cobalt or orange, so close up the wings look like overlapping slabs of paint; at dining-table distance they come together as plumage. Only the faces, with their fine black stripes and pale eyes, are painted in finer detail.

Is CA#782 a print or an original painting?

An original. CA#782 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of CA#782 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
