About this painting

An empty slatted bench waits in a pool of yellow sunlight, framed by two dark willow trunks whose hanging branches fall like a curtain across the top of the canvas. The knife work is heaviest in that canopy, where strands of lime, gold and emerald are dragged downward in raised strokes, with teal in the shaded depths.

Behind the bench a pale path opens into the distance in near-white and mint, the brightest spot in the picture, and the bench casts a long shadow to the right. No figure appears, so the empty seat carries the mood.

IA#1087 is an original impressionist landscape painting showing park bench beneath weeping willows with dappled green and yellow light, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 11 standard sizes run from 36×18 in (91×46 cm) to 100×50 in (254×127 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Hang it facing seating rather than behind it: opposite the loungers in a spa's quiet room, or on the wall a guest-suite bed looks toward, the empty bench mirrors the people looking at it. Moss, olive and bottle-green upholstery pick up the shadows, while raw concrete or grey limewash makes the yellow light look brighter by contrast. The long 2:1 shape lines up neatly with a low media unit or console on that wall.

Specified for spa & wellness, guest room & suite, living room and bedroom; it reads as peaceful and cozy & warm.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for IA#1087 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 36×18 in to 100×50 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on IA#1087 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Why are the willows in IA#1087 painted with a palette knife?

Weeping willow branches hang in long, fine strands, and dragging a loaded knife downward builds each strand as a raised ridge of colour in a single movement. Layering lime over emerald over teal this way gives the canopy depth and a surface that catches light, which a soft brush would not give.

Does IA#1087 work in a room without much daylight?

Yes, because the painting supplies its own sunlight: the yellow patch on the grass and the glowing path behind the bench read as daylight even on an interior wall. A warm downlight aimed at the canopy brings up the lime and gold strands and makes the raised knife strokes catch highlights.

Is IA#1087 a print or an original painting?

An original. IA#1087 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of IA#1087 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
