About this painting

Rolling fields in lime, emerald and buttercup yellow stretch to a low turquoise sky, with a haystack on the left and red poppies scattered through the hedgerow in front.

In the middle distance a ploughed strip of grey-white earth, drawn in dark parallel furrows, is the one cool, quiet patch among the greens and yellows. Two slender trees stand on the right horizon. The paint is thick and directional throughout: swirling strokes in the sky, long sweeps across the fields, and short, tangled marks in the foreground hedge where most of the poppies sit.

IA#138 is an original impressionist landscape painting showing Van Gogh-style green and yellow wheat fields with haystacks, poppies and blue sky, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 11 standard sizes run from 36×18 in (91×46 cm) to 100×50 in (254×127 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

With its 2:1 proportions it spans the full length of a three-seat sofa, a reception desk or a dining banquette, and reads as one continuous band of countryside. Warm whites, butter yellow, olive or moss velvet, rattan and brass sit happily with it, and it brightens a windowless office wall. Leave a 20–25 cm gap between the furniture top and the canvas so the hedgerow is not lost behind cushions or heads.

Specified for lobby & reception, workspace & office, living room and dining room; it reads as uplifting and bold.

Pairs well with

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for IA#138 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 36×18 in to 100×50 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on IA#138 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

What is the grey striped field in the middle of IA#138?

A freshly ploughed strip, its furrows drawn as dark parallel lines on grey-white earth. It is the calmest area of the canvas, giving your gaze a resting place between the busy hedgerow in front and the bright yellow wheat beyond.

How does the yellow in IA#138 sit within a room's colours?

The canvas is mostly green with two large yellow fields, so it warms a room more than its turquoise sky cools it. Repeat the yellow once, in a cushion or a brass lamp, and let the olive and moss greens link to plants or upholstery; the red poppies are small enough to stay accents.

Is IA#138 a print or an original painting?

An original. IA#138 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of IA#138 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
