About this painting

Leaves and nothing else: dozens of broad, overlapping leaf shapes cover every inch, and not a scrap of sky or ground shows between them.

The colour climbs from dark forest green and teal along the bottom and left side to mint, lime and pale yellow-green near the top centre, as if light were falling into a canopy from above. Each leaf is one or two heavy knife passes, the paint shoved into a raised rim at its edge with a vein scored down the middle. Two lemon-yellow leaves, one left of centre and one at the top, break the green and keep the eye moving.

TA#987 is an original textured floral painting showing overlapping sculpted green leaves filling the canvas, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a sculpted relief surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 11 standard sizes run from 36×18 in (91×46 cm) to 100×50 in (254×127 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

With no background to read, the canvas behaves like a planted wall, so use it where living greenery is impractical: a windowless restaurant, a basement bar, an inner lobby with no daylight. Beige panelling, champagne trim and white marble keep the greens fresh; dark walnut deepens them. The heavy lower edge gives it weight, so hang it with a modest gap above a sofa or banquette rather than high up, under a ceiling spot that grazes down across the leaves.

Specified for lobby & reception, restaurant & bar, living room and dining room; it reads as uplifting and bold.

Colour palette

Pairs well with

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for TA#987 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 36×18 in to 100×50 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Because the surface is not rolled, the choice is between stretched, ready to hang, and stretched in a frame; a frame costs more.
Surface
Sculpted relief is built up in layers with drying time between them, so it costs more than a flat painting of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on TA#987 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Is a particular plant painted in TA#987?

No species is intended. The shapes are generic broad leaves, closer to a canopy seen from below than to a botanical study, so the canvas reads as greenery without naming a plant. That keeps it from clashing with real planting nearby, whether ferns, olive trees or palms.

How does the leaf texture of TA#987 respond to side lighting?

Strongly. The raised rim around each leaf throws a thin line of shadow, so with a wall-washer or a window to one side the overlaps separate into distinct layers and the canvas looks almost carved. Lit evenly from the ceiling, colour takes over and the depth softens.

Is TA#987 a print or an original painting?

An original. TA#987 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of TA#987 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
