About this painting

White leaves with scissor-cut, wavy edges spring from a mustard yellow vase and spread across a solid black ground. The vase has a pinched waist and thin black lines running down it like ribs. Its leaves split into two upward plumes, plus long fronds that hang down past the vase on both sides, and five small yellow flowers with white centres float in the gaps.

Only three colours are used, laid flat and opaque with crisp edges where white meets black. The black works as a second set of shapes: the narrow channels between leaves are drawn as deliberately as the leaves themselves.

MA#347 is an original minimalist floral painting showing yellow wavy vase with white cut-out leaves and small yellow flowers on black, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Black, white and one yellow make it easy to tie into a scheme with a single accent: mustard dining chairs, a yellow pendant, brass fittings. It holds its own in monochrome interiors with striped rugs, checkerboard floors or black-framed glazing, as in a bistro or a modern dining room. Even front lighting suits it; there is no texture to rake. Glimpsed through a doorway from the hall, the vase-and-leaves silhouette registers in a second.

Specified for restaurant & bar, gallery & retail, dining room and entryway & hallway; it reads as bold and uplifting.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for MA#347 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on MA#347 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Are the leaves in MA#347 cut paper or paint?

Paint. They imitate the irregular, scissor-cut look of mid-century paper collage, but every edge is cut in by brush against the black, so the surface stays flat and the shapes stay sharp. Up close you can see the slight variation a hand gives each curve.

Can MA#347's mustard vase and flowers switch to a different accent?

They can. The vase and the five flowers are the only yellow, so painting them terracotta, sage, cobalt or blush changes the mood while the black ground and white leaves stay. A paint chip or fabric swatch from the project helps match it.

Is MA#347 a print or an original painting?

An original. MA#347 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of MA#347 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
