About this painting

Ripe orange persimmons hang in loose clusters from slender bare branches that drop from the top edge, while two small birds perch among them on the right against a weathered grey ground. The fruit ranges from pale apricot through orange to a deeper red-orange at the lower right, each one rounded with a soft highlight and a small dark cap where it meets the stem.

The background is the quietest and most unusual part: mottled greys streaked downward like an old plaster wall, warmer at the left and paler behind the birds. A handful of green and yellow leaves are all that remain of summer.

HA#045 is an original hyperrealist floral painting showing orange persimmons hanging from bare branches with two small birds on a grey ground, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 24×20 in (61×51 cm) to 80×60 in (203×153 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Persimmons are an autumn harvest fruit, so the canvas fits a dining room, a tea room or a restaurant built around seasonal menus. Grey and orange sit beautifully with raw concrete, limewashed walls, smoked oak and unglazed stoneware, the palette of a Japandi interior. The gently horizontal shape works above a sideboard or a long bench, and on a dark charcoal wall the orange fruit seems to glow.

Specified for restaurant & bar, guest room & suite, dining room and living room; it reads as peaceful and cozy & warm.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for HA#045 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 24×20 in to 80×60 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on HA#045 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

What do persimmons signify in HA#045?

They are often read as a wish that everything goes well, since in Mandarin the word for persimmon sounds like the word for matters or affairs. Fruit still hanging ripe after the leaves have fallen also suggests a good harvest, a fitting idea for a dining room or restaurant.

Are the two birds in HA#045 easy to miss?

At a distance, yes, and deliberately so. Both are small, brown-grey and tucked among the branches on the right, so the orange fruit reads first and the birds are found second. Up close, the speckled bird at top right and the dark-capped one lower down are finely detailed.

Is HA#045 a print or an original painting?

An original. HA#045 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of HA#045 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
