About this painting

Cream, blush and deep magenta roses spill from a gilded blue vase in an old-master arrangement, with fern fronds and clouds of gypsophila fanning out into a dark brown ground.

Light gathers on the pale roses at the heart of the bouquet, leaving the magenta blooms on the right in warm half-shadow. Daisies poke out on the left, and the vase carries a small painted landscape between gold and blue bands. At its foot a shallow dish of dark red cherries spills a few onto the table, and a crumpled green cloth catches the light on the right.

HA#290 is an original hyperrealist floral painting showing classical still life of pink and white roses with ferns in a vase beside a bowl of cherries, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Deep green, oxblood, aubergine or walnut panelling lets the brown ground recede, so the canvas looks set into the wall; on white it reads as a lit window opening onto darkness. Hang it above a sideboard in a dining room, or in a wine bar or private dining room, where the cherries and roses suit the table. Keep lighting warm, around 2700K, so the cream roses stay ivory rather than chalky.

Specified for restaurant & bar, dining room, gallery & retail and living room; it reads as moody and romantic.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for HA#290 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on HA#290 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

What tradition does the still life in HA#290 follow?

The European flower piece of the seventeenth to nineteenth centuries: a lavish bouquet set against darkness, with fruit and cloth at its base for colour and texture. Paintings of this kind are often read as reminders that beauty is brief, since cut flowers and ripe fruit both fade within days.

Will HA#290 look out of place in a modern interior?

Not if the surroundings are plain. The dark ground and gilded vase look richest beside flat modern surfaces such as concrete, matte plaster, slatted timber or a low velvet sofa, because the contrast makes the canvas look chosen rather than like period decoration. Clutter around it is what makes it look dated.

Is HA#290 a print or an original painting?

An original. HA#290 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of HA#290 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
