About this painting

Three horses stand shoulder to shoulder in decorated leather bridles studded with silver: a golden palomino, a near-black bay and a white-faced chestnut, all with heads turned to the left. The plain cream ground does nothing but set them off, so the interest lies in the tack: rows of round silver conchos, breast collars hung with medallions, braided reins and a tassel swinging at the centre.

Coats are smoothly blended, with a soft sheen along the jaws and necks and the palomino's pale forelock brushed in fine strands. The left third of the canvas stays almost empty, crossed only by loose loops of rein falling from the bits.

HA#022 is an original hyperrealist animal painting showing three horse heads with decorated bridles on a cream ground, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 10 standard sizes run from 24×24 in (61×61 cm) to 72×72 in (183×183 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Three horses abreast read naturally as a team, a reading that works on the far wall of a boardroom or the panelled back wall of a steakhouse or whisky bar. Being square, it fits a chimney breast, a column face or the narrow panel separating two doors where a landscape format would be squeezed. Set it on a wall darker than its cream ground, such as deep green, oxblood or charcoal, so the canvas edges register, and aim a narrow spotlight at the bridles.

Specified for meeting & boardroom, restaurant & bar, dining room and home office; it reads as cozy & warm and bold.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for HA#022 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 24×24 in to 72×72 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on HA#022 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

What kind of tack are the horses in HA#022 wearing?

Western-style show bridles: leather headstalls lined with round silver conchos, breast collars hung with silver medallions, braided reins and a tasselled rein loop at the centre. The tack is painted with as much care as the coats, and it gives the work its ranch and saddlery character.

Why are the horses in HA#022 set so far to the right?

Placing them right lets their heads face into open cream space, which makes the group look as if it is moving forward rather than boxed in. The reins hanging into that space stop it from looking unfinished. Hang it where people approach from the left and they meet the horses head on.

Is HA#022 a print or an original painting?

An original. HA#022 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of HA#022 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
