About this painting

Overlapping leaves and feathers fill every inch of the canvas, each one packed with fine diagonal stripes like the veins of a palm frond or the barbs of a quill. Thin cream outlines knit the shapes together into a kind of stained-glass patchwork.

The palette is earthy: rust and chestnut, indigo and navy, sky blue, olive and emerald, mustard and a faded salmon, with black and cream between the stripes. Each stripe is a raised ridge of paint, close to carved relief, so the hatching casts tiny shadows. Large rust and sky-blue leaves cross the centre on a diagonal and set the main rhythm.

AA#633 is an original abstract floral painting showing overlapping leaf and feather shapes filled with fine striped lines in earthy multicolour, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas with a heavily textured impasto surface. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Along a corridor or a long banquette wall in a restaurant, the diagonal leaves carry movement down the passage, and the dense pattern still reads when walked past quickly. It needs a calm surface around it: limewash, polished plaster, plain terracotta or dark olive paint rather than wallpaper. Graze it with a recessed downlight positioned near the wall, so the ridged stripes cast shadow; flat lighting from straight ahead hides much of the relief.

Specified for restaurant & bar, living room, corridor & circulation and entryway & hallway; it reads as bold and cozy & warm.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for AA#633 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Thick impasto uses more paint and takes longer to dry than flat brushwork, which the price reflects.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on AA#633 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Are the shapes in AA#633 leaves or feathers?

Both readings work. The long pointed forms with a central spine and angled stripes resemble palm and banana leaves, while the softer curved ones look like feathers. It stays abstract enough to sit comfortably in botanical schemes and in pattern-led, earthy interiors alike.

How raised are the stripes on AA#633?

Noticeably. Each line is a ridge of paint with a small groove beside it, so the surface reads almost like carved relief rather than flat hatching. Up close the corrugation is obvious; across a room it shows as a fine shimmer whenever light reaches it from one side.

Is AA#633 a print or an original painting?

An original. AA#633 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of AA#633 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
