About this painting

A near-black monstera leaf hangs from the top left corner and partly eclipses a burnt terracotta sun, while a slim palm frond climbs from the bottom right across its lower edge.

The background splits into two flat fields, deep chocolate brown above and sand beige below, joined along a stepped, curving edge. Ghostly cream sprigs fade into the beige at the lower left. The leaves are bold silhouettes with only a lighter midrib for detail, and the heaviest tone is at the top, so the picture feels weighted from above and settles as the eye moves down to the paler sand.

MA#628 is an original minimalist floral painting showing flat boho monstera leaf, palm frond and terracotta sun on beige and brown, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Since the darkest shapes are at the top, give it a white or pale wall where the brown field has something to stand against; in a dim corner the black leaf and brown ground merge. It suits a hall wall beside a dark-stained door, a café host stand, or the side wall of a dining area with rattan chairs, terracotta tiles and black metal light fittings. Olive and rust textiles echo the frond and the sun.

Specified for restaurant & bar, guest room & suite, living room and dining room; it reads as cozy & warm and bold.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for MA#628 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on MA#628 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Why are the leaves in MA#628 nearly black instead of green?

Dark leaves turn the plants into silhouettes. Against the terracotta sun they read like shapes cut out of the light, which gives the picture its graphic boho look and lets it sit comfortably beside black fittings and dark doors rather than competing with real greenery.

Is the round shape in MA#628 a sun or a moon?

It is usually read as a low sun. Its burnt orange matches late-afternoon light, and it sits behind the foliage the way a sun drops behind leaves. It is also the warmest note on the canvas, so it is the colour worth repeating in a cushion, a vase or a tiled floor.

Is MA#628 a print or an original painting?

An original. MA#628 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of MA#628 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
