About this painting

A leafy stem drawn in fine black line climbs out of a terracotta hill, with a charcoal disc sliced off by the right edge and a soft grey stroke trailing behind the plant like a shadow.

The drawing is loose and slightly sketchy, each leaf a long pointed loop, and several leaves run off the left side of the canvas. The terracotta mound filling the lower third has a paler tan wedge on its left. The dark disc is painted in a mottled, stone-like wash, with a small grey pebble floating above it. Cream fills most of the upper canvas, so the thin line stays legible.

MA#012 is an original minimalist floral painting showing single-line leafy plant with a terracotta arc and grey circle, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Terracotta, tan and charcoal sit naturally with cane, walnut, cognac leather and real plants, so it suits a home office with a timber desk or a guest room styled in earthy tones. In a hotel corridor, place it where guests pause, opposite a lift or at the turn by a fire door, rather than midway along the run. A living plant nearby echoes the drawing without competing, provided its pot is plain.

Specified for corridor & circulation, entryway & hallway, guest room & suite and home office; it reads as cozy & warm.

Pairs well with

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for MA#012 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on MA#012 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

Is the line-drawn stem in MA#012 a particular plant?

It is a generic leafy stem rather than a botanical study, though the long pointed oval leaves branching up the stalk resemble a young ficus or rubber plant. The interest lies in the drawing itself: a fine contour line describing every leaf, set against flat blocks of earth colour.

What is the grey stroke behind the plant in MA#012?

It reads as the plant's shadow on the wall behind. The soft grey stroke enters from the left edge, crosses behind the stem and trails down toward the terracotta hill on the right, which gives the flat black drawing a hint of light and depth without any shading on the leaves themselves.

Is MA#012 a print or an original painting?

An original. MA#012 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of MA#012 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
