About this painting

A terracotta pebble balances above a larger mauve-brown stone, and one thin black line loops around the smaller stone before dropping past the larger one to the foot of the canvas.

Both stones are soft washes rather than solid fills: the terracotta warms toward its lower edge, and the mauve stone is mottled with darker plum patches. Behind them a pale blush disc, barely darker than the cream ground, rises from the right edge. The line sets off from the top left corner, wraps the upper stone in an elongated loop and then descends in one long, slightly unsteady stroke, leaving the left and lower margins open.

MA#011 is an original minimalist geometric painting showing terracotta and mauve pebble shapes with a single black line on cream, hand-painted in acrylic on canvas. It is painted to order in any size; the 14 standard sizes run from 20×24 in (51×61 cm) to 60×80 in (153×203 cm). Painting takes about 10 days and delivery 5–7 days by DHL, FedEx or UPS; the minimum order is one piece.

Where it works

Earthy terracotta and plum belong with natural finishes: lime-washed or clay-plastered walls, rattan, raw linen bedding, unglazed stoneware. In a guest room, the narrow strip of wall beside a window or wardrobe suits its upright shape better than the wide wall behind the bed. Warm lamplight deepens the terracotta, while a stark cool-white wall makes the cream ground look yellow, so set it on an off-white or warm greige.

Specified for corridor & circulation, guest room & suite, entryway & hallway and bedroom; it reads as calming and cozy & warm.

These share its palette, format and surface, so the three hang as a set: a run along a hotel corridor, a pair either side of a bed with this one between, or one per suite on the same floor.

Sizes & scale

Width × height. These are the sizes ordered most often; any other size is painted to order, with the composition redrawn to your proportions. A common rule: art about two-thirds the width of the sofa, bed or console beneath it.

What affects the price

Trade prices for MA#011 are quoted per order rather than listed, and come back within one business day. Four things set the figure:

Size
Price follows canvas area. The standard sizes run from 20×24 in to 60×80 in; any other size is quoted the same way.
Finish
Rolled canvas is the lowest-cost way to buy and ship. Stretched, ready to hang, costs more, and a frame costs the most.
Surface
Flat brushwork takes less paint and time than impasto or relief work of the same size.
Quantity
Volume pricing starts at 10 pieces: the same design for every room on a floor, each one painted individually, or a mix of works.

Shipping is not included in the price; its cost is confirmed with you before the piece ships. Ask for a price on MA#011 on WhatsApp →

Questions buyers ask

What holds the two stones of MA#011 together visually?

The black line. It begins in the top corner, wraps once around the terracotta pebble and then slides down past the edge of the mauve stone to the bottom of the canvas, so the two shapes read as one balanced arrangement rather than two separate blots of colour.

Are the stones in MA#011 stacked or floating?

They float just apart. The terracotta pebble hovers above and slightly left of the mauve stone with a sliver of cream between them, so they suggest a stacked cairn, a motif often read as balance, without actually touching. The looping line supplies the connection the shapes leave out.

Is MA#011 a print or an original painting?

An original. MA#011 is hand-painted in acrylic on canvas when you order it — nothing in the iHomeArt catalogue is printed or held in stock. The photographs show an earlier canvas of the same design, so the brushwork on yours will differ slightly.

Will several copies of MA#011 match across rooms?

They read as a set: every copy is painted from the same composition and palette. Each one is still painted by hand, so the brushwork differs slightly from piece to piece. Progress photos at each stage let you compare them before the next stage starts, and volume pricing begins at 10 pieces.

Will the colours match what I see on screen?

Screens shift colour, so the photographs here are a guide rather than a swatch. You see progress photos or video at each stage and approve a photograph of the finished canvas before it leaves. Moving the palette towards your scheme is normal: send a photo of a paint chip, a fabric swatch or the room on WhatsApp.
